Dr. Ostrzenski is a full university professor in the USA and the retired director of the Division of Operative Gynecology HU Washington DC and currently a professor at Florida International University, Miami, FL, USA. A former visiting professor in several universities (recently, at Padua University, Italy). He is an educator, practitioner, pelvic-reconstructive, female genital cosmetic, and female stress urinary incontinence surgeon. Also, is an accomplished clinical-scientific researcher who published his studies’ results in prestigious, peer-reviewed medical journals.

Professor Ostrzenski discovered and published new medical entities (endometritis mycotica and lateral vaginal prolapse) and established female stress incontinence etiology. Furthermore, he developed over thirty new gynecologic surgical techniques via laparotomy, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, transvaginal operations, and female genital cosmetic-plastic surgery, including corrective surgeries for severe cosmetic surgical complications. He is also credited with six anatomical discoveries within the female urogenital tract. In addition, Prof. Ostrzenski authored educational clinical books, one of which was translated into several languages.

As a surgeon, Prof. Dr. Ostrzenski teaches and demonstrates his new surgical operations around the globe and how to apply his groundbreaking anatomical discovery to gynecologic surgery. He developed a new surgical treatment for female stress urinary incontinence, a new episiotomy intervention without cutting perineal musculature that eliminated postpartum pain and superficial dyspareunia. A new technique for stress urinary incontinence was based on Professor Ostrzenski’s anatomical discovery of the urethral stabilizing mechanism. The vaginal outlet wall anatomical discovery changed our thinking about traditional episiotomy. Among the many awards, Professor Ostrzenski treasures the German-Turkish Gynecologic Society's recognition of the surgical concept quality and the development of a new surgical intervention for total vaginal prolapse in which native tissue was utilized without surgical meshes or types. Indeed, this award is captivating since it emphasizes significant contributions to the progress of a woman’s health. Furthermore, the Professor became a laureate of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award for impacts on advancement in medical science. Prof. Ostrzenski’s two research articles were ranked number one globally and were selected from 23 million domains. The Who’s Who America Encyclopedia dedicated over a half page to present Prof. Ostrzenski’s scientific-clinical biography.

The President of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Padua University, Italy, selected Visiting Professor Adam Ostrzenski at the Specialization School of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Padua University, to organize worldwide educational lectures on a Webinar celebrating the 800-Anniversary of Padua University. Under the patronage of the President and with Prof. Dr. Erich Cosmi, Prof. Dr. Rafaele DeCaro, and other invited speakers, Prof. Ostrzenski established a very successful program globally, with 54 countries participating in these educational events.

In 2001, Ostrzenski stepped-down from his directorship position of the Division of Operative Gynecology at Howard University College of Medicine, Washington, D.C. and relocated to the State of Florida, where he has been practicing gynecologic surgery, teaching surgeons from all over the globe, and doing clinical-scientific research at the Institute of Gynecology, St. Petersburg, Florida, U.S.A. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Ostrzenski has served for the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) as an expert, expert coordinator, and advisory panel member on surgical techniques and endoscopy. He has also served FIGO (the largest and most prestigious society in the world) as a member of the Assessment of New Technology Subgroup on Gynecological Endoscopy. He was invited to sit on Editorial Boards and was the Co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Prenatal and Perinatal Medicine and Psychology. Additionally, he received a medal and the title of the “Father of Modern Cosmetic-Plastic Gynecology” for his scientific-clinical research and for pioneering this field. Ostrzenski was presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to progress in Medicine. Other notable awards include a Medal from the International Falloppius Society, and a Clinical Research Award from the German-Turkish Gynecologic Association for developing a new surgical-therapeutic intervention for pelvic organ prolapse. Ostrzenski was honored as International Man of the Year and Man of Achievement for Contributions to Progress in Medicine in 1995 (Europe) and 1996 (the USA). He was also honored with an appointment with the Research Board of Advisors of the American Biographical Institute. Ostrzenski is recognized as an honorary member of the Polish Gynecological Society and Honorary President of the Polish Society of Plastic Gynecology. He is a member of the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics in the U.S.A.

Recently, Ostrzenski discovered the urethral stabilizing mechanism and the vaginal outlet anatomical structures and published in mainstream peer-review journals. These discoveries laid the foundation for new surgical procedures for urethral stabilization procedure in female stress urinary incontinence. Also, he developed a new episiotomy. Both operations are helping women around the globe.
